The Command and Conquer Ultimate Collection.

Question

hello everyone,i just bought command and conquer ultimate collection yesterday, and was extremely excited to play these games i have completely forgotten about. Anyways i install all of them with no issues at all. i am running windows 7 64-bit first problem occured withCommand and Conquer Renegade:i made a XWIS account and every time i try to join a match.. the game just crashes with no error.. so i then try to play single player.. and now a freeze up at the loading screen.. just about every time.. well after searching and searching online with no luck i decided to play the other games that i got and come back to it later. NEXTCommand and Conquer Generals:installed the game perfectly fine with no errors, stays at splash screen at the beginning for about... 10 minutes then SOMETIMES the game will load. i will control alt delete and it says NOT RESPONDING. SOMETIMES it will load.. but not oftenCommand and Conquer Tiberium Sun:I thought this game was the ONE game that would run fine.. i got to mission 2 and now my game just randomly freezes...first for about 20 seconds.. then continue.. shortly after that.. it will permanently freeze and i cant do anything ..okay so.. starting to get kinda irritated now... i spent $20 on....what? i then ended up getting MORE issues with majority of the games on here.. i have tried.. command and conquer red alert.. command and conquer covert operations.. the colors are extremely messed up and just flat out unplayable.and i have yet tried red alert 3, or command and conquer 4... but i mean.. can i get some REAL help here.. its just been frustrating and ridiculous.

Renegade: Maybe try CnCNet as an alternative to XWIS: https://cncnet.org/renegade Never tried it, but I heard great things about it. Also apply the Tiberian Technologies patch, which apparently fixes many issues. Generals:
See: https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Command_%26_Conquer:_Generals#.22Technical_Difficulties.22_error.2FSerious_Error Please follow all the steps under both ""Technical Difficulties" error/Serious Error" and "DirectX 8.1 error (Windows)". One of those solutions should fix the problem, especially the steps under "Create or edit Options.ini" I think.

Edit: Shame to me, saw only just now that the original post wasn't recent, but from 2013 haha. Really strange that nobody answered the original post 7 years ago.... Well, hopefully I could help others with it. @SIKOKIS86 can at least probably fix his issue with the provided workaround 🙂
