The Command and Conquer Ultimate Collection

To anyone who may be able to help me,

I have an HP laptop running Windows 7. I purchased it last summer, and it us up to date with most software, and is 100% up to date with any Windows updates. I purchased The Ultimate Collection in hopes that the page, http://www.commandandconquer.com/collection/en, was correct that the games were updated to run on Windows 7. Command and Conquer 3 and Command and Conquer 4 run fine and I am currently downloading Red Alert 3 to see if that runs well. However, Red Alert 2 does not work well, and is one of my favorites of the series. Neither the normal game or Yuri's Revenge run normally. They run, that isn't the problem. The problem is that the game does not display properly. I can hear the sounds of the intro video and such, but it is blank. If I ctr + alt + tab away, and go back to the game, it has a still image of the intro video. Same thing if I skip the video and go to the main menu. The music plays but the screen is frozen. I have even switched back and forth in order to change the resolution of the game and that does not help. Even changed resolution on my laptop to 800x600 to no avail. Anyone have this problem and fixed it?

UPDATE: If I navigate the menus as such, I can actually get to the game and it runs fine. Strange things happen though, and I'm looking into why. In under a minute, the Enemy AI had already created a nuke and destroyed me. Also, the arrows for getting around the map were SUPER sensitive. Also checking into that.

UPDATE2: Figured out why the controls were sensitive and why AI was so fast, the game speed was on max automatically? haha Still having issues with Video and Menus, but the game runs fine? Makes no sense to me.
