What the hell is wrong with this game with regard to Wifi?

I have never played a game that so often has connection problems when you play through a Wifi connection. I am sitting here literally just a few feet away from my router, and I am the only person who...

just turn on wifi for updates, and turn it off for gaming? If your phone has it, it will use it.

As for better wifi, try something in the 5ghz band. Less interference. Also minimize things using wifi, since it's kinda like a toll gate. Someone else's facebook post goes into the same line as your rivals move, so you gotta wait for that facebook post to send before your wifi will send off your rivals move giving you that dreaded "poor connection" warning.
