Just loaded Dead Space 3 via PC DVD. Unfortunately, I can't even play the game. It consistently locks up as soon as I start the single player campaign; ending up with a black screen making the system unusable and forcing me to do a hard reset.
System details:
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium
6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 Build 7601
x64-based PC
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz, 2668 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 295
Graphics driver: 310.90
How do I go about getting EA engineering the details they need to diagnose what's going on here?

Hi All,
I have merged several post into this thread as they all seem to relate to a conflict between the game and certain peripheral devices.
So, to find the device causing the issue please disconnect all peripherals, gamepads, joysticks, headsets, everything except mouse and keyboard. Start the game to confirm it works without any peripherals attached. Plug your devices in one by one, restarting the game after each device is connected until the device causing the issue is determined. From that point you can go about troubleshooting the reason for the conflict. The first place to start is to look for and update any device drivers that may be required. If no updated drivers are available then uninstalling and reinstalling could be effective in preventing this issue.
Thank you.Barry.

I've tried everything including but not limited to:
1. Run Origin Repair Install / Check For Updates
2. Removing all peripherals
3. Ensuring all drivers are current, including...
4. Testing clean installs of NVIDIA drivers 257.21 GA thru 313.96 BETA
5. Running various Windows diagnostic tools to see if anything would bare out (nothing did)
Same results. Game continues to crash at the first cut scene at start up. I have over 20 FPS games installed on this rig (including Dead Space 1 and 2). Never had a problem until now. I'd hate to think I spent $60 for nothing.

So is EA going to help us or not?
