Bought the game, downloaded it, click play and... crash, crash, crash.

Pretty much what the title says. I click play, screen goes black for a few seconds, then acts like a program minimizes and I have a lovely "Deadspace 3 has stopped working" dialog. Was looking forwar...

Solved it, it was a game controller. Unplug/remove those devices, and any in Device manager, and see if that works. I had a vJoy driver for a VT Controller (for playing Hawken with) installed and that was the culprit.

Got the same problem here... Found a page which says its an memory error, but I didn't´t have overclocked my RAM

You have to unplug your gamecontrollers like gamepads or joysticks. I removed my 3dconnexion Space Pilot Pro and after that the game works fine.

Seriously???? I play a lot of titles like this (including both previous DS games), but my main hobby is flight sims. I've got FIVE controllers plugged in, and there's NO WAY I'm doing a complete re-wire job on my PC to play.

I have no controllers installed, even if i shut down everything i still get the .exe crash, I can't help but think if I could launch the game directly it would be fine, bloody Origin is just a constant headache, so i've bought a game that I can't even play... really??

  I've done everything EA listed and I still get a black screen freeze and have to hard reset my pc. The freeze is random.. Only made it to the just after the suicide guy lights off grenades... after I fall down in the sewer area I get constant random freezes. Made it as far as the first Mech table.. had to watch the same video 150 times.. will someone please help. I dont use any controllers all drivers are updated and I have done every fix listed throughout google search.
