Can’t connect to dead space 3 servers

@unequaledneil Hey, when are you connecting to single-player or multiplayer? Can you take a screenshot of the error you get?

I start up the game and it tries to connect and then gives me the error message that it can’t connect to the servers. I press “A” on the co-op option or press “X” in the menu when it says that’s the button to connect to the servers and it tries but doesn’t work. I have the online pass downloaded too. 

@unequaledneil I downloaded it this morning and was able to get into all co-op options which means it is still online for players. It would be more of a local issue than a game issue. When you play, are you on a PC or Laptop?

Are you using a wireless connection or are you hardwired into a modem or router?

I’m on my Xbox series X and have the game digital

@unequaledneil Let me see if I can download it to the console and test it out. Are you connected on WiFi or hardwired?

@unequaledneil See if the following works for you. I launched it and tried the same and got no error so it is working in the game.

• Quit all running Apps (For Series X|S consoles)
• Remove any connected device, or additional USBs from the console then restart the Xbox and check for updates
• Try the steps in our Connection and Advance Connection Guides
• Open you're Xbox NAT Type
• Change DNS settings (You can use the public Google DNS primary: 8.8.8.8, secondary: 8.8.4.4) 

Persistent Storage

• Go to settings > Select Device & Connections > Then Blue-Ray
• Select Persistent Storage > Clear Persistent Storage

Alternate Mac:

• Go to settings > Select General  > Then Network settings
• Go to advanced settings > Alternate Mac address > Select clear
• Select restart

If you can, try to use a hardwired connection to test it.

Would clearing that storage erase my save file?

@unequaledneil Depends on how you clear it since there are a couple of options. Since it is all cloud storage now, Here is how it works. Make sure you don't delete the wrong one.
