CD Key Acivation Problem

When I am about to play Dead Space 2, it says it needs to activate the CD Key. But when it starts activating, it says the CD Key has already being used. I bought Dead Space 2 on Steam, a long time ago. It is not the first problem I have this issue. Can anybody help me with this issue? I want to play my game!

    Hi kanashiro1995,

    If you have exceeded the allowed number of activations then yes, an EA Game Advisor can help you with that. Please log in with your Origin account and then click 'Contact a Game Advisor' to see the contact options.

    Hello my game dead space 2 told me that the number of activation is exceeded ..

    My game is bought on steam.

    The solution you give other topic does not work with steam as the game is not listed in the Windows games I can not activate the license ...

    I am sorry Barry, but I already contacted Steam support and they said I needed to contact EA support, so i ask your help with this problem of the exceeded number of my cd key. I already tried the deauthorization on one of my other computers so i could play on mu new laptop, but the problem persists. Can't you please solve the problem manually like they did before when i had the same problem? Please i want to play my game!

    In other forums I've seen it posted that this is a problem on EA's end.

    I have been trying to contact a game advisor but the wait is forever and nobody answers. Isn't there a way for me to send an email to the support? I can't find that option in the support web page.

    The only way to contact an advisor is via help.ea.com

    I know the wait can be long, persistance will help you get the problem resolved.

    Uh, no...  EA is responsible for helping fix this DRM mess.   Check the Steam FAQs (aside from it obviously being EA's responsibility, not Steam).

     

    so what is the fix? Aside from not bying any EA games laced with DRM?

    How can/do you deautherize when running windows 8 / 8.1?

    I myself have contacted support, in which I thought was resolved. And when I had to re-install my OS ( win 8 ) it says I have exceeded installs. What a load of rubbish.

    I contacted support again and was told to phone a number to resolve the problem.
