Chapter 11 cargo bay elevator stays red

In chapter 11 after Isaac has moved the marker and is prepared to enter the flight bay, the elevator remains locked (red). There are no enemies left and no lock down. I have reloaded previous saves a...

    I ran into this problem as well.  I was able to restart from the last autosave before the Cargo Bay, change the difficulty then re-save again at the cargo bay.  After the sequence played out, the elevator light turned blue!  Not sure why that worked but it did.  I just reset my difficulty level again and was able to move on.

If you have ever played an RPG you know that this works well most times. I never changed difficulty like this but good one. I always reload, save new save, load that new save.
