Chapter 9 game-breaking bug still not fixed

EA was apparently in talks with devs over this issue in April, but 4 months later, we still have no update. This isn’t a minor bug — it is game breaking. There’s no objective to start chapter 10 as the crew door is locked. I have no saves to revert back to, so I can’t try loading an old save. Is there any update on this?? Jedi Survivor had a major bounty hunter bug that was fixed in a few weeks. Not sure how this bug hasn’t been fixed yet. Dead Space is a short, linear game. i haven’t been able to play since early February. There should be a fix by now.
