Dead Space - Died and stuck loading forever
I died to a door in the second mission not paying attention. The game now just loops loading (audio repeats) and occasionally says "building shaders". Left it for 30 min and still doing the same thing. Tried killing and reloading the game. After the initial splashes and warning it immidately loads the death and we are back to same loading loop. Tried repairing the install, same thing. Literally no longer able to play the game at all since I can't reload a pervious save or access any menus. Extremely frustrating. EA version, PC

Managed to find where it stores the saves and after deleting the last autosave I was able to load the game and continue from the point prior.
Edit: If any devs see this. The issue is 2 fold.
1. The game autosaves at the moment of or just prior to death. The door for me in this case and I've had another instance where I was low health with an enemy immidately behind me and it autosaved.
2. The game autoloads prior to hitting continue on the main menu. I guess for a seemless no load time start?
If it loads these autosaves the game isnt paused and so you die before being able to interact with the menu. It then loads and you immidately die again causing an endless loading screen loop when unknown to the player you are dying over and over. Either autosave needs to be fixed or the game needs to be paused before hitting continue on the main menu.
