dead space 1 chapter 5 ER

No matter what I do to get by the hunter in ER it won't work. I'd like to know if anyone has had the same problem & what they did to get by the hunter. I freeze & next I know theres another monster there to kill me.  I don't last more than 20 seconds in ER before I'm kill. Can anyone help PLEASWE DO & THANKS.  

I have spent hours tring to get past the Hunter in ER with no luck all that happens is after he is froze & I sttart to kill the others, the Hunter kills me.

If anyone has the same problem I'd like to know how you solved PLEASE  HELP & THANKS.

I'm getting tired of being killed within 5 seconds of rntering that oart of the game. Dome one please help thanks.

Freeze him, grab the item, exit the room....

I maxed out the stasais, but that didn't help.  There is more more than thr hunter to deal with.

There has got to be a place to stand were the monsters can only get to me from the front & can't get behind me. 

How many monsters are fhere in Chr 5 hunting for the DNA??? 

There has got 2 be a way 2 disable  Hunter & friends long enough 2 get the DNA & get out of there???    All I get  in  the 1st 10 of the game play is 2 be killed repeatidlhy.   I maxed out the STASIS mode in the BENCH.   I freeze him, but  that didn't  hel[p.   I thought he would stay froozer longerit it didn't help.

Some 1 must have had the same problem I've had if you can give me a clue as 2 what 2 do.   PLEASE HELP me out & THANKS.
