Dead Space 2 activation code invalid (steam)

Question

Hello. A long time ago I bought dead space 2 on steam, I played a lot of multiplayer and eventually stopped and installed it, now I have reinstalled it and everytime I try to login to my EA account it says "Another account has already been activated with this key. if you have any question regarding your account, please visit support.ea.com" please help me asap i really want to play and possibly buy some expansion packs.

Activate it through the origin website. I had the same problem with the origin client but then it worked when i did it on the website itself

As said, I bought it on steam, the reason i came her is because its a problem with my origin account.
