Thank you, EA, for getting me sacked, yet again. I payed for Dead Space 3 in hopes of managing to coop with my friend. I live in the UK, and she is in the Netherlands. Not once has it worked to join coop games that either she creates, or I create. Simply Failed to Join game message pops up every time. Me and her have tried ALL port tips on this forum (including disabling our firewalls), except the one involving a certain piece of software that reads what ports Dead Space 3 tries using, as I haven't found that thread anymore (if any of you stalking this forum do find the name of that software that reads port activity, please let me know. I wish to try that as well, before saying I've exhausted all options.) Tried using the Quick Match function, and what do you know? Sometimes I get Failed to Join game as well. It can not possibly be my PC, or her PC, or any PCs in this thread, that have posted.
What are you playing at, EA? No answers, no help, we have payed money for Dead Space 3, and at least in my and my friend's case, we've also payed for Mass Effect 3. An issue is present there as well, check this: when I host, and she joins, or the other way around, our games either freeze in the "Joining Game" dialogue, which overlaps the general map of Galaxy readiness in the multiplayer menu. In the "happy" case that we DO join each other's game, we start it, and either I get tremendous latency if she hosts, or she gets great latency when I host. What is going on? I have not yet tried the multiplayer on the Command and Conquer: Tiberium Wars game, but I bet I will encounter issues there as well.
Second post in this thread. If no official responses come, then I will start contacting you directly, EA.
