Dead Space 3 digital download is unnaturally slow.

My internet connection is highspeed and I have no other programs other than origin and Answer HQ open. I've tried closing down all other programs, ending processes, and a number of other things, but the download speed remains at kilobytes per second. It's been downloading for hours now.

Does anyone have any suggestions or helpful advice?

    You may have a fast connection, but your internet provider may rate limit you when downloading large files. What provider do you use?

    I picked Dead space 3 for the free gift and the download speed is terrible.


    After three days I am at 50%.

    I can download any other game on origin in less then half the time it is taking me to download this so my guess is there is a lot of people downloading it.

    54% in three days.

    I start downloading at 10:00AM and leave it running till I go to bed.


    I am on a 3Mbps connection *350K
