Regional Price for Argentina

Hi there!

I'm a Steam user and I would like to bring something to your attention that may have been overlooked. Last year Steam introduced a new region called LATAM which includes many countries in Latin America, including my country, Argentina.

Currently, Dead Space seems to have inherited the standard price in the United States since no price was set for our region.

Would you please consider setting a price for our region when you get a chance? This would be greatly appreciated by players across Latin America!

Kind regards, St3foR

More generally, a lot of folks buy through Steam and then have to link to EA app. In other words two launchers for one game.

Since over two years ago, if a game I want is on Steam, but via EA, I close Steam and purchase direct on the EA app, even if there is a price difference. (not sure if there ever is.)

My point is simple. It's an extra layer before getting to the game. Odd compatability or any kind of issue can pop up when using two launchers - sometimes.

Since starting always purchasing on the Platform that actually owns the rights/sells the game I have not a had a single issue period. That includes the EA app.

Could be coincidence I suppose, but considering I have quite a few games on EA app. (Even more directly - not linked on Steam due to the bigger library.)

It's always one launcher, Steam, EA, Epic to game. Never linked. I think it probably that it can prevent certain oddities happening. Easier too.

That's just my experience/observation, so it might be wrong. But in my case it seems more than coincidence. (A long time ago, I did experience a few strange problems with

    platform linked games.) Now never.

I just realized my post may be in the wrong thread. I'm not sure as it is partly relevant.

So, Dear EA folks. Feel free to move if necessary.

  • Thanks for sharing this important information about the LATAM region on Steam. It's great to see the development of games like Dead Space. At the same time, I would like to introduce Snow Rider 3D, a great game that lets you experience the fun of driving on snow!
