Dead Space 3 Door Sound Bug/Glitch?
I've just started playing the game and have landed on the ship where Ellie is supposidly trapped.
Every door where you must use kenesis on to open makes some constant aweful ticking sound comparab...

Something I wanted to mention real quick:
I don't think this bug is related to a person's sound hardware. I have 3 options for sound on my system: A Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi, my onboard Realtek sound chip, and my Radeon HD 5870. I have tryed sending sound through all of these and the sound bug occurs on all three.
I'm upgrading my graphics card to an Nvidia GTX 670 later today. I'll check out Dead Space 3 after the update and see if it has done anything to fix the problem. I'll post the results soon.
I have successfully upgraded my video card from my old RadeonHD 5870 to my new EVGA GTX 670 and unfortunately the problem still persists.
It's also worth noting that when I upgraded my card I also reinstalled Windows 8 so I wouldn't have to deal with leftover driver incompatabilities. So even running on a completely fresh copy of Windows 8 I get this door bug. This rules out that it's some program I installed causing the problem.
This is without a doubt a problem with the game itself that needs to be fixed by the dev team.
Well the DLC is now released so hopefully we can expect a patch in the near future. Would be great to get an update from eabastian
