Dead Space 3 Save Problem
When I load up a saved game in Dead Space 3, I do not end up in the exact place I save and exit, nor do I start anywhere near my last location. Can you please fix this problem?

The whole save point system stinks in this game. I had made it all the way to midship on terra nova and had to quit, only to have to start back at the tram station when I came back. I had listened to the audio and unlocked the door to go on to the next level... what a crock.
Had the EXACT same thing happen to me... and the conning tower isn't that much fun to go through again. Quite a pain... it is starting to ruiin the game for me. I hope there is a patch soon.
I'm not playing the game until they fix it. In fact, I may return it to get my money back. Video game season is almost over for me and I still have Bio-shock next month. EA always pulls the same S***t they fix stuff that don't need fixing, Tiger Woods swing, putting and green reading for example, they got it right years ago and just had to F**K with it. Stop the madness EA!!! And Don't get me started on Mass effect. Look. EA is mostly a publisher but they have a big stake (obviously) in these products.
Patch the save fix EA or lose me for good!!
My game froze 4 times just at the end of the conning tower mission. Just as i was trying to ride the elevator back to the shuttle. Finally gave up and skipped it. End of that trophy. now i cannot complete the optional mission in chapter 17. freezes on elevator ride . Can't even begin to count the number of times it froxe and wiped out my save file.
Is there a fix for this game coming soon??
I am playing on a ps3 console. 4 different ones actually and tried 4 different usernames and 2 different discs. after 39 hours of crashing, wiping out my save file, reloading copied saves, moving ever so slowly through everyplace i knew there was an auto save i finally made it to chapter 17 optional mission. I cannot take the elevator ride back to the top without it freezing . I surrender . necromorphs win. EA wins - they got my money.
