Dead Space Remake Chapter 5 Crash reproducible

Hey everyone,

really hope you can help me as I waited long time to build a new PC and enjoy this game. And I love it like the original one until now.

However, to my problem:

In Chapter 5 when I have to return to medical station to find Nicole I have a literal game breaker. 

After Mercer told me the first time via link and I killed the two crawlers (killer babies) in the hallway to the station where Mercer keeps his live subjects. Everytime after killing the crawlers and heading to the door the game begins to stutter. After entering the room where Mercer is talking again the game has two major frame drops and then crashes.

 I tried disabling HDR in the settings file, set the refresh rate to 120 Hz. I checked the game files via Steam repair and reloaded previous auto saves, but the crash always occurs at the same time and location.

Has anyone of you experienced something similar and can assist here?
