Dead Space Remake Fuel Card won't spawn

Hey there,

So far for me personally on chapter 3 the fuel card doesnt spawn and i am hard locked from progressing. i restarted and now on chapter 1 i cannot get my stasis ability from the refill point to slow the door. i have also heard and read of issues in chapter 2,5 & 6. i have also been experiencing multiple graphical and technical issues, main menu not loading & crash on boot. Please do not suggest playing on SSD i have heard that doesnt help with these problems and a genuine patch is needed. i am enjoying all the aspects about the game but these game breaking bugs are killing it especially now i just cant progress.

Had a similar issue on chapter 6, a battery wont spawn so I'm stuck. It should be in a specific glass cabinet, but it isn't there. 

Got this problem in chapter 6, locked from progressing because a battery didn't spawn. Needs a patch asap.

Did restarting the game fix this for you? I'm having the same issue.

The keycard failed to spawn on the desk and now my save is soft locked. I am unable to go back to a previous save as all of my current saves and autosaves are in chapter 3. I have tried everything I can ot get the area to reload with no success.

This isn't even the only softlock possible from the sounds of it. Is there any official response or direction on this issue? 

Not much you can do besides waiting for the patch, I'd leave it at it cuz nothing you do seemingly works. This might happen in various parts of the game. I'd suggest against buying the game in this state right now, it's like a lottery where you can get past a particular door or not.

Do you have an HDD or SSD? 

Literally just had the battery not spawn for me in the Emergency Room on Medical Deck in Chapter 2. The only thing that fixed it was reloading an old autosave, which is literally the only thing keeping me from having to restart the entire game. I've also had the door on chapter 5 infinitely say standby, and the only thing that fixed that was reloading an old autosave as well. Also had Mercer and that one guy he killed not spawn so isaac was just standing there talking to himself in a later chapter in the game, same thing, old autosave load fixed it. I agree they need to stop suggesting an SSD. I have over 400 games on my 14 TB drive, im not buying an SSD just for 1 game, make it work on a HDD.

I’m stuck in a death loop on ps5 chapter 4. Wondering if I should delete my data and start over or get a refund.
