I can't launch Dead Space 2023 via Steam.
I don't have the game in EA app, it doesn't require it when launching, and I can't buy it. I bought this copy for 60 dollars, I don't have 30 more for another copy in another app.
It shows up in Task Manager for a second, disappears, then blinks again and disappears for good.
No window launch, no sounds, nothing. Game never really gets launched.
The game was successfully launched on this same device a year ago, last time in March 2023.
- Windows 10, updated.
- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060, updated to the latest, 560.81.
- VC++ files are updated.
- I cleaned the registry, the Steam download cache, deleted temporary files, run System File Checker, didn't help.
- I tried Clean Boot, didn't help.
- Game reinstalled, verified, didn't help.
- Disabling Steam/EA overlays didn't help.
- Disabling anti-virus didn't help.
- Changing game resolution via Steam / NVidia Geforce / Changing my monitor resolution didn't help.
- Launching as admin / in compatibility didn't help.
- The game on SSD. It's an internal SSD. I don't have any external SSD.
- I can launch other Dead Spaces and other EEA games of the similar requirements just fine, like Star Wars Squadrons worked just fine.
Doing all of this at once also didn't help.
I never saw anything like that. There are no error messages, no additional errors, no fail states, it just never launches.

I don't know what could have caused this at all. I have been through a lot of PC-gaming, but this is somewhat new.
