Dead Space starts then minimizes

Dead Space 2023 on Win11

The game starts up then minimizes after a couple seconds. I can bring it back up from the taskbar but it then minimizes again after a couple seconds.

Game was playing fine days ago, no system updates since then that I'm aware of.

I have seen a solution to this issue previously that involved navigating to a local EA folder and modifying the resolution, but that solution was from years ago and the folder structure for the game, and probably windows, has changed since then. I'm stuck.
