My problem is: I launch the game from Steam, it opens in windowed mode showing nothing but black screen, after a couple of seconds error message saying "DirectX function "res" failed with E_UNEXPECTED ('Unexpected failure.') GPU: NVIDIA 'GeForce GTX 1660', Driver: 52824" shows up.

The "Driver:" part changes sometimes to 52741 and other numbers. I think I tried almost every possible fix like clean reinstalling my drivers, checking dxgiag, compatibility mode, running directly from folder, running as administrator, rebooting, checking file integrity, moving it to SSD using steam and basically most of methods I could find online for DirectX errors (By the way I couldn't find a single solution for THIS EXACT problem).

I didn't try:
1. Reinstalling the game
2. Reinstalling my Windows 10

Any ideas? I'm kinda out of ideas at this point. Might try to reinstall it but I doubt it will help. DxDiag attached

Getting the following error : 

DirectX function "res" failed with E_UNEXPECTED ("Unexpected failure"). GPU :RTX 3060 ti , Driver : 52737. ( See attached photo ) .Already tried different driver versions , reinstalled the game and tried various fixes.

I haven't seen a lot of threads on this type of error and i was wondering if anyone found a fix for this issue.Thank you.

same problem.Rolled back to the recommend driver, game is still incredibly inconsistent.

Date this issue started (is it still happening?)? Right after the very first update for the game rolled out.
Before that I had 17 collective hours total of uninterrupted gametime but now it barely plays due to this error. Can play any other game no issues this is the only one that acts like this.

Is anything else happening? This error is the only issue.

I've done all the fixes and even rolled back the driver but nothing.
