Yep, DS2 was my favourite too. Still looks Ok considering it's age. Of course the remake of the original is better looking by far on a good PC with decent RTX or similar function AMD card.
A remake of DS2 would be a dream come true! I think it would be at least as graphically good and probably better optimized than the first remake. (Practice makes perfect.)
I didn't have any issues with the "original remake," (except dropping the controller with fright) but seems a lot of people on here did. Especially if linked/ purchased through Steam. I always think it's best to buy on the native launcher. Launching Steam to Launch EA app seems like invitation to cause odd problems. One launcher is enough.
Aside from that, there were other problems people reported. I won't list them as I experienced none, but my point is doing a fresh remake of the second game should, hopefully be less hassle free and well polished after experience and feedback re: Original re-make.
Thanks to the OP for creating the thread. One thing I would add to your list is DLSS. Works great if GPU supports it. Otherwise SMAA/TAA get the job done, just not as well. I've really come to like DLSS set to quality now as it gets better implemented all the time. Personally not too concerned about Ray Tracing, but those with RTX 4xxx high end cards would love it.
Let's hope it happens! Haven't heard anything yet. Anyone know if it's in the pipline? Sure hope so!
I have no doubt it would sell well. Seems DS2 is the favourite overall out of the three games?

Community Manager@GawgPorkChop Of course. This series has been one of my favs for a long time. Especially 2. I would be one of the first to order a copy of this one. I would also love to see a collectors edition of 2 as that could be an amazing set to have if it was done correctly!
