Higher than normal PC Temps
I am having issues with Dead Space(2023) on my PC
The temps on both my cpu 91 degress and gpu was hotter than normal and they are uncomfortably high and I have my AIO Cooler on performance. My gam...
having the same issues mate.
Seems like the game is defaulting to controller mode.
Because my friend who has on the ea launcher (i have it on steam), has the keyboard keys in the first collumb.
While i have it in the second. Ive tried setting it to force keyboard and mouse but its not working.
U running on steam?
Maybe the product code can be linked to the ea launcher instead and that fixes the issue?
Btw ive even tried to disable my controller in device manager.
Minme is on ea launcher and I have the same problem too. It is not a steam thing. the game is broken.
Hey all,
Thanks for reporting these issues.
Going forward, I would recommend keeping the issues split per thread. This makes it easier for others to also contribute to the thread.
Regarding the 'fake' controller feeling, rebinding/clearing the in-game controller bindings should indeed resolve this:
You have to go into the Controls/Keybinds settings (in-game) and "Clear" every single Controller Button mapped in the Controls options. You press T to clear an action, so just make sure you clear the Controller Buttons and nothing else. Some of the buttons mapped can't be cleared, but clear every single one that you can and the weird feeling should go away.
We have a thread about this here.

Regarding the high CPU temp; depending on your PC's setup, this can be quite normal, depending on your system. However, a CPU temp of 91c is likely due to a malfunctioning cooling solution. I would recommend making sure that everything is working as intended and checking if your CPU is maying running an overclock of some sort. Also, if you have an AiO cooling solution, make sure that the pump is working correctly.
im having an issuie with my mouse cursor in menus i cant see the pointer and i have to use arrow keys to navigate the menus anyone else experiencing this issue?
There is no way the large amount of people seeing these huge CPU temps all have cooling issues
Hi Everyone,
It seems we have a few different issues post in this thread. To confirm the original poster indicated an issue with High CPU temps.
I wanted to check who may still be having that problem. For other issues please make a new post so we can gather info and provide relevant information.
If you are still seeing issues with high CPU temp please let us know the following:
Platform:
PSN ID/Xbox GT:
Region:
Are you using an internal or external drive?
Are you using an HDD or SSD?
Date this issue started (is it still happening?)?
Is anything else happening?
If possible, share a Screenshot or Clip...
If on PC, please share a DxDiag
It's not the hardware's fault. I have freshly installed Ryzen 7 5800x3d with Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360 mm. I know this Ryzen is usually a bit hotter, but even stress testing (and I have done a lot) where there is 100% load on all cores and threads does not get past 80C. The game goes 85C on my CPU and the frequency on which the CPU works is 2.5 GHz. We know that the 5800x3d has a lot higher base clocks than that. I don't know what it is, maybe your precious Denuvo, but this issue has to be addressed. What I did to lower the temps though is from the BIOS I turned off SMT(hyperthreading) and the temps dropped to 75C. Might help other people. So it's not people's hardware, it's another PC port not properly optimized.
