I solved the issue.
Apparently, this game and other EA titles have issues with iGPU RAM allocation. If your RAM allocation to the iGPU is too high, your game will refuse to recognize the dedicated GPU. To fix the issue, restart your laptop and open BIOS. Lower your RAM allocation (I lowered mine from 4 GB to 2 GB), and now the game will recognize your dedicated GPU and run properly.
What a stupid problem to have. I just wasted days of my life figuring this out, thanks for nothing EA.
i get the same problem on F1_2023, and your solution saved me... context: the new driver AMD to afmf2 is optimized to run frame generation on exibition gpu, it allows to dedicated gpu to don't loss performance base, for this i configurate BIOS Hybrid graphics and Win11 (first withou adjust yhe bios and selected principal gpu to performance board before activate hybrid on ASUS bios, after this reinstalling drivers)
in other games this works beauty, but in F1_23 the game crash when select the dedicated gpu or updating manually the config file, the solution of pre-allocated RAM resolve it too
actually i rendering the game on rx 7700 xt and delyvering the frames on integrated graphics, gain of 20 fps base
sorry by english and EA suport not work
