PC Hunter/Regenerator not spawning

I have a game breaking bug on impossible savefile as the first fight against the Hunter does not start. I saved yesterday before starting the cutscene with Mercer, but I when I started back this morning, the Hunter wasn't in the tank anymore and doesn't spawn at the end of Mercer's monologue.

I already tried to restart the game and loading back the safefile many times, but it doesn't change anything. Is there any way to fix this or savefile is corrupted ?

Encountered a possible soft / hardlock bug after the Hunter necromorph is released in Chapter 5.

In the main medical room with two power cell ports and circuit breaker where the objective is to lift the lockdown, i am unable to make any progress due to both powercell ports not having a powercell and there is none on the floor or in any adjacent room.

The only way i can imagine to get two powercells is to break the two boxes with kinesis magnet marks on them located in the main medical room, but they appear indestructible.

It has been a long time since i played the original Dead Space, but i do not recall the powercells having disappeared in this part of Chapter 5.


If the powercells are meant to be located by the player somehow in the remake, it inherently does not appear obvious where and how to find them.

If there is a issue where the powercells somehow have become invisible to the player, completely disappeared or near impossible to find, some help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.

That door on chapter 5 on infinite standby 😫 never had anything like this happen before. I work 5 days a week. I have a family with kids  and only find a few hours a week to play the games i love. I buy a ps5 and pay full price and my games broken. Feel Gutted and robbed. No more day 1 purchases for me.

Date this issue started (is it still happening?)?
