[PC] OneDrive Might Cause Cache Issues with Shaders?
I have a 13900K with an nVidia 4080 and still getting tons of stutters on an NVMe WD 850 and 128GBs of RAM (I have a ton of RAM for work/VMs). Could a lot of the stutter be from the cache/shaders folder being in the Documents folder by default and Windows 10/11 really pushing for OneDrive? I am going to do some testing on trying to disable OneDrive but it has been giving me issues on removing all of my Documents and giving issues on restoring if not using OneDrive. I really think Dead Space should be like other games and put the cache/shaders somewhere else.
Anyone else fixed these massive micro stutters/big stutter issues by removing OneDrive from the constant syncing of documents? I do like OneDrive backing up all of my save games but I believe them trying to cache the shaders in the same folder was a mistake since it is constantly trying to sync while playing.
