@EA_Illium / @Kakifrucht
I have to acknoledge where I have seen improvements. I am posting so the devs know where it stands but I do not speak for everyones hardware, and this is not a perfect performing game (yet!).
Reminder:
Ryzen 5600x
3080 10GB
32GB RAM
NVME SSD
Windows 10
Prior to 1.05 I have VRAM overload issues for the following (drops to 9 FPS until i rebooted or reloaded the game):
- After 10+ mins of Gameplay.
- Triggering of any cutscenes.
- Picking up any new weapon or mod.
- Interacting with any upgrade bench.
- Over 3 Necros in one encounter (Med Bay was the biggest culprit)
Now having a clean install, new save and rebuilding shaders at DLSS Quality/4K under 1.05, only item 2 and 3 above trigger this issue (and is not guarenteed to happen). The major positive is, it only lasts a few secons and i can get on with the game. I just pause or alt tab immeadiately to stop it runining a cut scene or new gear moment. Im pretty sensitive to when its about to start so ive gotten good at it.
This has gone from unplayable to a minor issue for me but I would love to see it completely resolved. This shows me it can be removed with more work and I appreciate what has been done but we need more.
@EA_Illium have the devs acknowledge more work on this or can you at least confirm to this thread it is being worked on further? I know people would appreciate clear comms on this.
PS: Big however to all this, traversal stutter is still there and needs to be prioritised over the likes of transmog and QoL improvements.
