[PC] Unable to Sync Save From Console to Game Pass PC

Hello I am currently in a chat with Xbox help trying to find a fix to why my save file from XBOX series X won't sync to the XBOX Game Pass PC version. I have tried to reset the xbox app as suggested ...

    Hey All,

    If you are playing on Xbox and PC, this should work. I have it installed on the Series X and my PC through the Xbox app.

    I just loaded up the game on the console, walked around for a bit, saved it again, and then went to the PC and loaded it up through the Xbox App and went to load the game. There was my save.

    If you don't see it you should try the following:

    Persistent Storage

    • Go to settings > Select Device & Connections > Then Blue-Ray
    • Select Persistent Storage > Clear Persistent Storage

    Alternate Mac:

    • Go to settings > Select General  > Then Network settings
    • Go to advanced settings > Alternate Mac address > Select clear
    • Select restart

    • Log into the game on the console.
    • Manually load into the game.
    • Save as a new save.
    • Close the game down completely.
    • Swap over to the PC version and test it.

I've got a similar issue, from what I can make out the cloud save option does not appear to be supported. I've got Game Pass for PC and Xbox, and although I started the game on PC, I would like the option to continue to play on my Xbox. My PC is in the dining room, and sometimes I just want to lay back in my recliner in the front room and play on my Xbox.

Hey All,

If you are playing on Xbox and PC, this should work. I have it installed on the Series X and my PC through the Xbox app.

    Does it work the other way around like from PC to Xbox?

      @DOOMRAINSS If you are playing through the Xbox app it does. I play games back and forth like this all the time. I was playing DS yesterday on lunch at my PC in the Xbox app, then swapped over to the Xbox console in the evening. As long as there is no sync issue when you log out properly, you will be fine.

        Nope there is no cross save feature for Dead Space (2023) unless you're playing on the cloud version on the pc.  Other than that you can't play the same save file from the console version.  It's lame because I owned the game on the EA app on pc and figured since they added it to gamepass on pc that i'd be able to unlock some achievements but it's not possible.  Only certain games have cross save from gamepass pc to gamepass on console.
