I have the same issue, literally cannot play, I'm not even lucky enough to get a beginning cinematic.

This is rediculess, to spend money on a game that is completely unplayable and then to get no response from the manufacturer....
Anyway back to the front.....
I am moving this post back to the front page...... I seems such a shame that us PC players can't get any help with this problem.... But what do they care, they got thier money. I can tell you this I will never buy through EA/Orgin/Game Stop again..... Very sad indeed.......
