Problem with graphics (dead space 2)

i downloaded both Dead Space 2 and 3 last Sunday and played on the same computer. i have no problem playing DS3 but i encountered graphical problem playing DS2. I see a lot of flashing black pieces...

okay i just tried but i cannot see the 'repair install' option for Dead Space 2 - I can find it for my Dead Space 3.

There is the 'uninstall' option for Dead Space 2 but what will happen if i choose it???

ukorov,

First, go to C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Documents\EA Games\Dead Space 2

Backup any files there, these are your save game files. Once backed up you can the uninstall and reinstall the game without losing your game progress.

    now it's reinstalled but that doesn't help 😕mileymad: two questions:

    are there any graphic settings i can do in the game????

    does this error already exist in the game before it is downloaded????

      ukorov,

      I do advise trying the game with different graphics settings, modified from within the game and from your video cards' control panel. If you could post a link to a screen shot of the issue that would be very helpful, as would posting your Dxdiag report.
