Every other game works through this launcher except dead space. It just does not recognize the PS5 controller at all. If i turn off DS4 then it just doesnt read it at all one bit. If DS4 is on, the buttons work somewhat but are way off in general. Any fix? I dont have the game on steam.
But with Xbox Series X Wireless controller if Asus Rog Pugio Il Is connect via usb
This need to be addressed. At a minimum Ea store bought games should come up on steam.

Which part should be addressed? PS5 controller issues happen for many different reasons, and it isn't always a game issue. I've tested my PS5 controller with Dead Space and I have not run into any issues.
As for the games on Steam, what is the actual issue with this? I can see many EA titles on there.
It's kind of insane that EA employees can see the multiple threads about both xbox and ps5 controllers failing exclusively on the EA app version of the game, but you still show up in threads just to ask what should be addressed after ignoring the issue since January release.
Edit: To clarify the reason Steam is being brought up is that the only reasonable fix for this problem is to make Steam run the game so Steam's controller inputs are forced. Something you can find all over reddit threads and troubleshooting blogs.
But that is not possible for everyone such as EA pro players, so it would be nice if EA could possibly replicate whatever fix Valve is capable of.
OK, so 3 years later on this thread but. Have just done a PS5 controller update on my PS5 and now the controller is only partially functional in Deadspace 2023. Have done all the restarts possible and no joy. R2, R3 and L2 L3 not working in the game but fine on all the menus etc. Any ideas on this one?
