Any help on how to prevent that? Can’t even get past the first cutscene.

This sounds like your console is overheating, especially if you have to unplug and replug the power before the console will power back on.
Try cleaning the vents, fan and heat sinks/fins with a vacuum cleaner.
Using a can of compressed air can clean a console better than other methods, make sure it is plugged out of the electricity and that you hold the can vertically so no liquid comes out.
Storing the console out in the open rather than in an enclosed cabinet can help too.
Thanks.
Even if it’s just that game that behaves that way? It seems it’s more of a timed response, like after just around 3 minutes. I have a similar issue with The Last of Us Part 2, except it turns off completely (and have to unplug and plug back in again) after the game remaining idle for ten minutes or so, but never turns off when I’m actually playing the game. So what would make an idle game overheat the console over when during gameplay? Or is this an apples and oranges situation lol?
