You should try to delete your DS Awakened DLC gamedata and re-download it via the PSN store. It might be that some of the gamedata got corrupted.
If you still suffering freezing issues, try to completely remove the gamedata:
Try to reinstall the game, but start it without the expansion packs:
1. Delete the DS3 game data
2. After that, you can run a PS3 file system scan
3. Clean the DS3 disc
4. Install DS3 without expansion packs
5. Re-activate online pass
6. Start the game and play several matches.
7. If that worked, install Awakened
