Since I posted this I saw another post about a Chapter 9 quick time bug and the solution was just turn down your video quality. I figured I'd nothing to lose so I turned it down to the lowest quality and I pulled him apart in one go. So. . . That's solved I guess. Just reduce the video quality.

Worked for me, not sure if it was really the problem but well, one try after I lowered the graphics and it was dead.
