Thanks for the replies. Turning on Vsync has indeed fixed the problem, and masrinkowl gave some really good advice I didn't think of.

I'm really happy, as now Dead Space 3 is up and running in full glory, and I was planning to play the entire game in co-op tomorrow. Thanks to all, and I hope you enjoy the game as much as I do! 😕mileyvery-happy:
