Re: (PC) Scavenger Bot Missing...

Hi,

happy to read that i´m not the only one having this nasty bug, am very frustrated about it...

Played the game on solo and received the 1st Bot in chapter 5 after walking down the little ledder. All worked fine.

Then I have started a coop game with a buddy and we started the game completely from Prolog.

After having reached chapter 5, both of us received the search bot. He could use it without any problems and my bot was just not there.

He was not even shown in the inventory or that he is in searchmode. (doing again solo did not brought him back!)

Later in chapter 8 or 9 we found another bot. Me then finally had his first bot and my buddy got his 2nd!

I hope EA/Origin are going to get this fixed asap. It sucks to look around for hours and hope to find some tungsten just because not having this little helper (furthermore the bot grants you much more than just resources).

I am also having this issue.  I beat the game twice on hard, playing impossible and one of my bots disappeared.  I called and spoke with a tech, and he is looking into it.  He suggested everyone post on this forum, so the creater will make a patch.  The more people that post, the more likely it will get fixed.  In the mean time be patient, and enjoy the game.  Hit me up on xbox  Zollinger11b

yip im left with 2 bots ,i think fix bug or a bot pack 1 to replace and a second for waisting my time with this bug

By the time I first finished the game had 3 bots, now I have only one

I downloaded all the scavenger bot DLC's and now I have zero bots. Pretty frustrating and would like EA to get back to me on this please. 

I can still hear them talking when I get near the weapon benches which is the worst part. 

Okay, that's it. I've been asking about this issue since day 1, since it still isn't fixed I want a bloody refund on my scavenger bots, this is getting absurd. I ended up at 0 bots as of yesterday. Lucky I backed up my save so I'm back at 1 again, but this is Bull**bleep**.

Also, note the day I posted about this issue, on that day I asked for a refund 3 times, they said be patient it will be fixed soon. So I waited, and still nothing. Give me my refund EA.

I'm having the same problem(s) as all of you guys. It's my 3rd playthrough (impossible setting) and I'm left with 2 bots instead of 3 now. This is freaking frustrating!! Apparently, it's after I purchase the 2nd DLC (bot capacity) then I've this problem. Please do something about it ASAP, EA!! ☹️

same thing here first playthrough was fine but  by end of my new game plus i had lost 2 of them

kinda sucks cuz there so handy to have

I have the same problem!

But instead I had 2 scavenger bots, and then suddenly I had 0!

then i found 1 bot that i had not picked up in chaper 14 or 15 or something, so at least i got 1 bot.

This is very irritating since I dont want to spend real money on those Seals, the ones you spend to get MK-V parts
 and besides spending real money this is the only way to get those seals with the scavenger bots.

Hope this gets fixed...

givin that EA/Viscareal havent BOTHERED to fix a bug they have had MOTNHS to work on, its pretty obvious that its workign as intended ( an attempt to force you to spend real money on resource packs in PS games). saw the same thing with teh Infamous Biotic charge glitch in ME3 multiplayer. they never bothered to fix it properly because it would of made Vanguards powerfull enough to force them to do "ballance" changes

Bumping untill EA bothers to at least ACKNOWLADGE this problem exists. will do so once a week or so.

bumpiung because im bored, and i  am currently dowenloading teh PC version of the game, to pay with some of my other friends. if i post something that is mainly deranged, enraged gibberish, that means ive head the same problem on TWO different platforms.

I can't believe I stumbled upon this thread so many years later.  Wow, I wonder if they ever fixed it?

I played this about a year ago with my buddy for nostalgic purposes and I frankly forgot about the bots, considering I had more than enough materials and weaponry.  I did love this game, but it was the weakest in fear and scares of the 3 games.  Disappointed a 4th game wasn't made.

The Remake is amazing.
