[Remake PC] Shadow pop-in 2 metres away (LOD)

To me this game looks flawless most of the time, really beautiful. Sadly, seeing shadow pop-in appear right in front of the player can be immersion breaking.

Devs, please fix this asap.

Pc specs : Amd Ryzen 5800x, Nvidia 2080ti, 16gb ram, game installed on Nvme.
In game settings : Custom profile, 1440p, 144hz, maxed graphics, Rtao Enabled, Drs Disabled, Vrs Disabled, Dlss mode Quality. Latest Steam game patch installed (installed 30th Jan). Framerate 60fps-90fps.

    Hi @fluidz 

    can we try the following steps and check if this continues?

    • Make sure the game is installed on an internal SSD (versus HDD or external SSD connected via USB)
    • Run the System File Checker tool then Check for Windows and GPU updates  
    • EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery) 
    • Repair Games (Go to My Collection > Select the tile Dots > Repair)
    • Check for other applications that may be limiting EA App or Game performance
    • Rolling back your GPU drivers to a previous version then test
    • Put your device in a Clean Boot then launch the game

    @EA_Illium Hi,

    Sorry for the late reply.

    Game is installed on internal nvme. Game was purchased via Steam so I cannot run through the EA steps you mentioned. All my other games work fine. Nothing is running in the background that is using cpu/gpu/ram or hd.

    It only happens in some areas of the game, most shadows render fine and don't require me to be 2m away. I'm sure its the game, not my pc.

    I would appreciate if someone at EA could visit the exact area that I showed in the video clip to see if they can reproduce it.

    @EA_Illium Indeed a lot of objects are popping in out of nowhere it's not only shadows but it's also little objects. I think this is something to do with the draw in distance of the game itself. Maybe the team at Motive can increase the draw distance.
