Serious Perfomance Issues on PC

For some reason, the game constantly stutters during combat, especially when there are explosion physics being simulated such explosives, canisters, etc. Please release the patch to address performance issues.

Same thing.  My average FPS around 100, drops to 40-50, feels like its stuttering too. Especially noticable when traveling from one area to another.

Could you try a GPU driver rollback to see if you get a performance increase?

Already tried previous driver, didn't help that much. Again, this game definitely needs a patch very soon to address general performance & stability improvement. 

The game compiles shaders when you first launch the game briefly, but I am still having huge stuttering issues that are clearly shader compilation.  I get huge stutters when seeing anything new, but if you go back to see it again, the stutter is gone.  When I realized this, I reset my shader cache in the driver.  When I launched the game again, the game failed to compile any new shaders, so the stuttering is much worse.  Hardware isn't at fault here: 5800x3D and a 6900XT, with plenty of RAM and installed on an M.2 SSD.

Since not everyone is having this problem, but some clearly are (especially if you look on Steam), is there a way to have the game force compile all of the shaders somehow? Also, what is the file location of the shaders?  Maybe they can be deleted on the desktop, forcing the game to recompile them on launch?

Found the shader cache location.  It's in Documents/Dead Space (2023)/cache

I tried deleting the contents, and started the game again.  It did try generating shaders again when launching for about a minute, but there were still a lot of big stutters.  Going by the amount of stutters, as well as the dates files were modified in that folder, it's clear that the shader compilation isn't catching very much for me.

My cache folder size is 70.5 MB, just from part of the first level.  I'm curious what a full shader cache size should be for this game, and if there's a way to force a full generation of shaders?

Following up with everybody here  I am having the same performance and crazy FPS drop issue. This is * I paid 89 buks. Here are my specs and I have Intel ARC 750 8GB card. I never had issues with any other game .The game is * unplayable I am really pissed 😠

What we need is to have consistent FPS from 60 to 120 with good visual quality.

Frametimes are slightly better overall it seems, but the traversal stutter is unchanged.
