***Steam*** Dead Space 2 De-Authorization Tools

Hello, I know its not right to ask here as its not origin, but its an EA title.... I recently wanted to play dead space 2 as steam is my only option to play it in German.... Thanks to EA region lan...

    The EA version still contains secure rom DRM( I played it a year ago) as well, thats why they include the tool in the uninstall file, but does the steam version includes it for DS 1+2 and the GoG.com version doesn't include i need to know by sure... Otherwise Im crying loosing one of the best trilogies ever made.

     

    I am a German, living in Germany. So, yes I can read german. 😉 But because we are at the English section of AHQ here, we have to continue in English.

    For GOG. All GOG games are DRM free.


    After a little research.. The Steam version of DS2 still uses Solidshield/TAGES DRM.

Where can I get information on why dead space3 is not available on steam?
Will it ever be available?

    It is not on Steam because it is on EA's own client Origin.

    I can't say for sure, but I think it is highly unlikely that the game will ever be available on Steam

    This is why I just can't bring myself to buy ANY of EA games anymore, I simply can't trust them.
