[Steam] 'Invalid' CD Key for Dead Space 2

November 2023 - When I try to redeem the CD Key code from The Dead Space 2 game, that I recently purchased on Steam, EA says it is 'invalid'... and the EA Customer Experience team have suggested that I post this on this Forum - to see if anyone can help and get my purchased game to be recognised by EA - so I can have it show up in my library... Steam has pushed this issue over to EA and it's community I'm afraid...

Can someone please help me?

    @Pippiwho If the game was purchased on Steam, its only available on Steam. The only way that code would work on the EA app is if was purchased from a retailer to use on a different platform. Content through Steam is only used on Steam unless specified when purchased.

    I paid for Dead Space 2. the Agreement was i could use it for life. that was a lie.... the game is unusable as the key limit as been reached... the only allow one game to run at a time on any PC. EA games has screwed their customers over first they remove anyway to contact them then they remove all live call back.. then they force you to DOOOM Scroll help that is really no help at all. basically they lied cheated rather than fix the problem they say is someone else's problem. we are getting a class action lawsuit together we have over 1000 people already marked on the dotted line. SO if you have sold a game it don't matter if you buy it here or on steam they agreed to provide support as a part of the sale, and since the game is unusable they knowingly sold a broken product and passed it off as good to go. so lets get it Right i paid for a product with a promise and both are broken and they are using stall tactics and changing terms of service to place the blame on costumers. if you want in the Suit reply to this message ill drop Emails for you.

    I am trying to redeem the code on the EA App - the Code came from the Steam purchase...

    Any ideas how to fix this?
