please someone help!!! I am trying to get 100% completion on all levels. When I finish the optional mission "artifact storage" in chapter 17 the game freezes and I don't get credit for it. When I get to the end at the elevator and get inside that's where it freezes. I've tried saving before I get to elevator and right after I get all the collectables out of the safe and it freezes. Also chapter 19 when I collect the last alien artifact ( I actually got the achievement "Aliens" for collecting all alien artifacts) I get to a certain point and the game freezes. I go back to get the artifact and I try saving right after collecting it and the game freezes again. So in other words I got the achievement but not 100% completion because the stupid game freezes on me. Any suggestions please?? Thank you
Are you kiddfing?? 27 pages of complaints on the EA forums. I have played this on 3 different consoles using 2 different discs and 3 different usernames (started new game over every time) EVERY single one of the playthroughs froze at some level. usually at an autosave point or "objective added " point. Conning tower mission, completed the mission but cannot take elevator back to surfacwe without freezing. , amory mission, same problem. Level 17? where you are transported back and forth to activate the machine- when it lands you as you stand up there is an autosave. End of that game. Frozen. Sometimes wipes your save file in the process of resetting your console. I had made copies of what should have been good saves and reloaded those which sometimes got me a level or two farther but out of a dozen or so attempts i have only completed the game once due to freezes and corrupted saves. 3 different consoles (fat , slim, super slim ) 2 different discs. Console problem? I don't think so. 27 pages of complaints on EA's own site. Google search Dead Space Freeze
