Completed game on impossible( have achievements to show) started awakened only to find that every single piece of gear and every resource I had in inventory was wiped and the progress went back to zero. I have absolutely nothing. I had no prompts or notices to start a new save slot or to push any buttons or reciever an overwrite warning. If your company wants users to use a new save slot the. You should ONLY be able to access the DLC through the "game+" option as you do when changing up to new modes. And yes, I "save and exit" everytime I leave the game. ( which is weird because my inventory should have been saved) thanks EA.
