Contacted EA Help; Live chatted with their advisor. They couldn't solve the problem. Instead, they told me to open ports and said they have posted this as a bug on my behalf.

I have the exact same issue... which ports did they tell you to open? It's odd, because it's allowed through firewall and I have no intrusive apps running that could limit the access...

TCP ports:
- 80
- 443
- 9960-9969
- 1024-1124
- 18000
- 18120
- 18060
- 27900
- 28910
- 29900
UDP ports:
- 1024-1124
- 18000
- 29900
This still does not solve the problem.

Oh, are those all? Why the heck does it need that many ports opened? oh well...
I found a similar list on a different thread, though opening those also did nothing what so ever.
I guess it's their way of telling us not to buy the DLC, eh?
