Solved

¨Game already running¨when it's not

Game won't launch, the app says it's already running but it's not. Tried uninstalling and re-installing both the EA app and the game, cleaning up the cache, repairing the game, re-downloading it, restarting my computer, to no avail.

  • 1. Go to time settings: Adjust time : SET TO OFF
    2. Set to automatic: SET TO OFF
    3. Show time and date: SET TO OFF

No go in to EA app, click "Go offline" then go in to settings again in EA app and do "App recovery"

    4. %localappdata% now DELETE EA app files all of them, also clean the recycle bin. Restart PC.

    This actually worked.

This is what worked for me:
    1) uninstall the EA App and restart PC
    2) Delete these folders (AppData is a hidden folder)
    C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Local\Electronic Arts
    C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Local\EADesktop
    C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Local\Origin
    3) Reinstall EA app and start it; If not all of your installed games are visible then restart the client - this should populate the list.
    Enjoy gaming as usual 🙂"

  • If you’re still having this problem I’m not kidding when I tell you the solution is easy…. Go into the adjust time and date in computer, make sure it’s not on auto and set the date to one day prior…. It fixes it
