Yes. I realize that this forum does not reflect the global populous.
However, it does show, that THOUSANDS of people ARE having issues
with the game. Whether the game crashes for them at some point,
or game breaking mission glitches, or just minor details -- like graphic
artifacting and such. And it is happening across all the platforms the game
was developed and published for.
If EA or Bioware was my company to run, I wouldn't have released the game they way they did, in the conditon it was in.
[Having been a legitimate business owner for nearly 20 years, I know that customer loyalty is what
is going to keep my business running. Customer loyalty and return customers. If I keep screwing
over my customers, they will go to one of my competitors, and it will be my competitors cashing in on them.]
With that said, EA and Bioware both, should be more communicative with their customers,
Let them know what is happening, what is being worked on, and any updates on their plan(s)
for fixing, improving, refunding, or replacing a defective product. But they have been completely
silent, since Dec. 10th.
I have already tried informing Bioware (but got redirected back to this forum), and EA about many of the issues that (at least PC) users are facing.
@I have tweeted @MarkDarrah, @Bioware, @Dragonage, and haven't heard anything other than BS things they've retweeted or are following.
I have looked at their Facebook pages, and other social sties where they post information (usually useless drivel about thier vactaions,
and how much fun they are having playing the game.)
I know that this game is huge, coding wise, and that it will take them time, but c'mon...
almost a month from release day to get a patch? (And that was because the entire
development team was on vacation release day(including Mark Darrah), when it should
have been an "ALL HANDS ON DECK!" day.
Getting back on point though, yes, the game is huge programming wise,
and with the crashbyte engine still being fairly new, I understand that fixing it
is a huge undertaking.
I just want some definitive answers as to date the game will be patched, and for what platforms,
From an offical and reliable source, that isn't going to -j e r k- all of us around,
and blow smoke up our keesters, with " we're working on it," or "We'll release it soon."
And then not produce, Holidays or not.
I figured they would have at least tried patching before Christmas,
which would have increased thier sales even more.
But, no, they're acting as if though they don't give a rats arse about it,
Because they are already celebrating the GOTY award.
