I had a similar bug when I rode my horse to the quest marker... No cutscenes occured at all. I dismounted and fast travelled back to the Dalish camp, then walked back to the quest marker and it seemed to fix itself.
If that doesn't work, try reloading an earlier save and get to the quest area on foot instead of on a horse.
see I would do that but I deleted all my previous saves, is it possible to finish it even if the quest marker I gone?
