I use headphones and I have tried every option regarding audio settings.
What brand and model of headphones?
I have a similar issue with my headphones where some audio doesn't come through and I have to fidget with the audio jack to get it right. It's a real nuisance. My headphones are the Sennheiser HD 205 and apparenlty it's not an uncommon problem.
