Cannot start the game?

So this is my issue:

I start the game, load my world state from the keep, make my character then start the game.

I get the cutscence where i'm running away from the spiders and up the stairs to the "being of light" that fades to black and i get the cutscene of me waking up with 3 soldiers surrounding me with swords drawn.

after that happens i load into the map from before (spiders/being of light one) and that's it.

I swing an invisible sword, have an invisble shield and i'm stuck.....no way out of there (can still move etc)

Something isn't right as from what i understand I'm supposed to wake up and start a conversation with Cassandra right?

Either way any help is appriciated as i've already done all the usual things: (Repair install, Drivers etc)
