Playing on PC there are occasionally issues where, for whatever reason, the mouse cursor will not interact with objects that should be interactable. In these cases using the 'F' key has worked, or in the case of dialog options the choice number will work as well.
It is as if there were an invisible overlay between the mouse cursor and the interactable trigger.
That's the thing, in all the other cases (and yes, I encountered several), I was able to circumvent the inability to trigger the interaction with the object (through camera angles or through the use of the 'F' key). This was the only one where that didn't work. 'Twas most odd. The ladder was not level with the top of the wall it was stacked against, so I supsect that there was an error with lining up the trigger and the object, but I can't know for certain.
